May 5, 2004

Troy Wentzville Education Site Director and Assistant Professor of Education, Dr. Mark D. Engelhardt, received Missouri Baptist University’s Distinguished Teaching Award for 2004. Dr. Engelhardt was presented the award by the University's President, Dr. Alton Lacey, during the thirty-second commencement ceremony held on April 24. The Distinguished Teaching Award is designed to annually recognize a professor with outstanding teaching ability, dedication, and enthusiasm.

In addition to instructing undergraduate and graduate courses in education, Engelhardt is also the faculty sponsor for the Troy/Wentzville Student Missouri State Teachers Association and Student Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
