MBU Player Ashley McMenomy Receives AMC Player of the Week

Ashley McMenomy, a freshman forward for the Missouri Baptist Spartans was named women's soccer AMC Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 21-27. McMenomy helped Missouri Baptist clinch the regular season conference title this week, leading the Spartans to a 2-0 win over Harris-Stowe State College.
In addition, the Spartans defeated Region V opponent Baker University by a score of 2-1. The St. Louis native was involved in every goal scored by the Spartans last week. She netted one goal and passed out one assist against Baker and scored both goals against Harris-Stowe.
Missouri Baptist University’s women’s soccer team was honored with winning the American Midwest conference championship. The MBU women have had their best season ever achieving a record of 15-1-2, along with receiving an automatic birth to the region five semi-finals.
