The Sixth Annual MBU Education Conference

The Sixth Annual Missouri Baptist University Education Conference was presented on October 19, 2002. This year’s keynote speaker was Mr. William Jenkins, author of Understanding and Educating African-American Children. Missouri State Senator Stephen Stoll also joined for a legislative panel discussion.
More than sixty students, teachers, and administrators from schools in the Saint Louis Metro area attended the Education Conference. Along with the keynote speech and the legislative discussion, attendees enjoyed two of seven breakout sessions, a continental breakfast, and door prizes.
The Conference was sponsored by the Missouri Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and directed by MBU students, Heather Ray, Matthew Cornwell, and Celeste Bommarito.
