Missouri Baptist College Hosts Criminal Defense Attorney

Criminal defense attorney Dee Wampler will present a lecture, Perspectives: from a Christian Criminal Defense Attorney, as part of Missouri Baptist College's Spring 2002 chapel series. The lecture takes place Thursday, March 7, at 11AM in Delozier Chapel.
A Springfield, MO, native with a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law-Columbia, Wampler has more than 30 years of experience in the courtroom. He served as assistant Greene County prosecutor from 1967-1970, was elected as a prosecuting attorney from 1971-1972 and has engaged in private practice since 1973. Wampler has authored nearly one hundred state and professional journal articles and has published four books on Missouri criminal law. In addition, his book, The Trial of Christ: A Twentieth Century Lawyer Defends Jesus, was published in 2000.
