MBC Named in America's Best Christian Colleges

September 21, 2001

Missouri Baptist College has been recognized for the third consecutive year as one of America’s Best Christian Colleges.

Institutional Research & Evaluation, Inc., an independent research organization specializing in higher education, surveyed 1,488 four-year institutions to identify schools with an academically superior student body and which incorporate Christian principles and beliefs into the educational environment.

“I’m pleased that MBC has once again been acknowledged as one of America’s Best Christian College’s. This is another recognition that MBC is providing a strong Christian education,” stated Dr. Alton Lacey, President of Missouri Baptist College.

MBC is one of twenty-five Southern Baptist institutions named America’s best, including Southwest Baptist University and William Jewell College, also located in Missouri.
