MBC Spring Concert Series Featured Nichole Nordeman

Missouri Baptist College presented contemporary Christian recording artist Nichole Nordeman in concert on March 23, 2001. Nichole was the featured artist of the College’s annual spring concert series.

Nordeman promoted her newest release, This Mystery, which is a follow-up to her highly acclaimed first album, Wide Eyed. Nordeman’s smooth vocals and deep lyrics create a musical blend that has gained the praise of fans and the industry alike.

Since her debut in 1998, Nichole has received Dove Award nominations for Best New Artist in 1999, Best Female Vocalist, and Song of the Year in 2000.

This Mystery is focused on the many uncertainties about God and life. Nichole’s songs present a challenge to ask questions and seek out the true nature of God. As she explained, "I really want to emphasize this notion that God is so much bigger than we thought or think. If we’re open to that, we can find the hand of God in so many places."
