MBC Students Receive Communications Award

Missouri Baptist College communications students received the Award of Distinction, as part of The Communicator Awards 1999, for their student-produced video, “Missouri Baptist College Admission Video.” The Award of Distinction is given for projects that exceed industry standards in production and communication skills.
The Communicator Awards is a national program that recognizes outstanding work in the communications field. Entries are judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. There were 3,275 entries from 49 states and seven countries in The Communicator Awards 1999 Video Competition.

Holly Andrews, senior, Communications major: Productions Coordinator/ Casting. St. Charles, MO
Katie Clausen, senior, English major: Director/ Script writer/ Voice over. O’Fallon, MO
Keith Clawson, sophomore, Communications major: Lighting Assistant/ Key Grip. Grover, MO
Ricky Janzen, junior, Communications major: Cameraman. St. Charles, MO
Ron Grapes, Communications Consultant: Faculty Representative/ Editing.
