Local Athlete Honored By Regional Conference

June 15, 1999

Julio Campos, shortstop and junior Sports Medicine major at Missouri Baptist College, was recently named Player of the Year in the American Midwest Conference, First Team All Midwest Region, and First Team All American. The naming of Campos as First Team All American is a first for the MBC Men’s baseball team. Campos is a native of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
