Sixpence None the Richer in Concert

Missouri Baptist College is pleased to present recording artist, Sixpence None the Richer, in concert on March 27th, 1999, at 7PM. The concert is part of the MBC’s 1998-1999 concert series.
Sixpence None the Richer, which takes its name from a C.S. Lewis story, is composed of lead vocalist Leigh Nash, guitarist/cellist Matt Slocum, and drummer Dale Baker. The group first signed a recording contract in 1992 with R.E.X. Records, a Nashville independent, and is now under the direction of Squint Entertainment. In March, 1999, the group’s single, “Kiss me” reached number ten on the American Top 20, and the same song is featured in the movie, “She’s All That,” which has reached number one at the box office.
Tickets: $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Seating is limited. Ticket on sale now!
