Alumni/Alumnus
Alumni is the Latin masculine gender plural form of alumnus, borrowed by English to refer to men and boys who have graduated from an education institution.

Example: John, Matthew, and Jake are alumni of MBU.
Example: Mark is an alumnus of MBU.

Alumni
Use the word alumni when referring to mixed groups of male and female graduates.

Example: Michelle, Don, and Mary are alumni of MBU.

Alumnae/Alumna
Alumnae is the feminine gender plural of alumna, used for women and girls.

Example: Alumnae of MBU include Jennifer, Christina and Amanda.
Example: Sarah is an alumna is MBU.

Alums
Alums is the plural of the clipped form of alum, used conversationally and informally, irrespective of sex.

Example: The alums of MBU gathered on Sunday for a reunion.
