Favorite Bible Verse: “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
This is the Bible Verse that helped me through losing my Granny. It reminds me to take it one day at a time.
Favorite Bible character: Ruth
After reading "The Lady in Waiting," Ruth became my favorite Bible character. As a young lady we are constantly made to feel like we have to find our husband so that we can be complete. However, when we look at the life of Ruth we can see that we don't need a husband to be complete-we need God. If we put God first instead of trying to find our mate, God will supply our wants and take care of us in His perfect timing.

Favorite Bible Verse: “For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” Phil. 2:13
Paul is saying that God works through us, His believers (despite our condition), in order to fulfill His Supreme plan. It gives me confidence that though I am weak and imperfect, God is greater and DOES work through me.
Favorite Bible Character: Melchizedech
His character proves that the Old Testament sacrifice system is completed through Jesus Christ. Christ is our High Priest; Hebrews 7.

Favorite Bible Character: Peter
Despite his former denials and failures, he carried with him a boldness and passion to share his faith wherever he was led. The first chapter of 1 Peter is crammed with fervent declarations of his new life in Christ. He had the kind of faith that produces real joy, not just temporal happiness. He had been shown grace and it was evident that it compelled him to be different.

Favorite Bible Verse: “We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother. 1 John 4:19-21.
I love this Bible Verse because it talks about how perfect love casts out all fear. When you believe that God loved you so much that He sent His son to save you and that God is for you, you don’t need to fear anyone.
Favorite Bible Character: Esther
She was a woman that had enough courage to save her people and made a difference in so many people lives. I have always wanted to make a difference like that in at least one person’s life.

Favorite Bible Verse: “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” Galatians 6:14
The cross is the pivotal point of all time and creation. Through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection we obtain salvation and ultimately bring glory to God.
Favorite Bible character: Paul
He knew the weakness of man, yet also the power that comes through the cross, and ultimately understood what it means to live the life.

Favorite Bible Verse: "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," Isaiah 54:10
This is my favorite Bible Verse because I have been there. I have been to the point where the very foundations of my life were shaken and all that I relied on had been taken away.
But, as the dust settled I saw that Christ was still with me and he was still carrying me. He can not be moved!
Favorite Bible Character: David
David is my favorite Bible character. David made a lot of mistakes in his day, some of which we could never forgive, yet God called him a man after his own heart. David stood up to fight for truth against all odds. I have also made a lot of mistakes in my life, and God has forgiven me. Even though I don't deserve a single ounce of His love he still loves me. David was a courageous, Godly man which is what I strive to be.

Favorite Bible Verse: "Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4
There have been times when this Bible Verse is all that has gotten me through. This is the truth, a real promise from God Almighty to give you the desires of your heart if you delight in him, and surrender yourself to pursue him wholly.
Favorite Bible Character: Joshua
He was a man of obedience. Even when God asked him to do things that made no sense to any other human on the planet, he carried them out no matter what. I don't know if I would have had the faith to march 2 Million people around a foreign city for 7 days.

Favorite Book: “Come Thirsty” by Max Lucado
Favorite Verse: “If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Shining as Stars
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:1-12
