Follow Love
One of the songs we sing is called “Follow Love.” It’s about leaving home or your comfortable situation to follow wherever God may be leading you. My life has been filled with these kinds of changes. I left my parents’ church when I was seventeen because of teachings that didn’t coincide with the Bible. I fell in love with the people at a small church in my town, and God called me to serve Him there for three years. Then just over a year ago, He called me to move on to another church. These changes are never easy; most of the time they are extremely hard. It was very difficult to leave my parents’ church. Then when I left the small church, it nearly broke my heart because I had become so attached to the people. But God is faithful and meets all my needs. It’s amazing how He’s opened doors for new ministry opportunities and relationships. If I had disobeyed and stayed where I was comfortable, God would have disciplined me, and I would have missed out on all His blessings. Even delayed obedience is disobedience. I urge you to listen to God. If He’s calling you to do something, don’t hesitate. He will equip you with all of your needs.
2 John 6 “And this is love: that we walk in obedience to His commands…”
