Justin FalloonName: Lauren Cornwell
Hometown: St. Louis, MO
Church: Damascus Road
Major: Human Services
Year in School: Junior

This is Lauren’s second year in Faithful, and she returns as a junior majoring in Human Services.  Helping children that are so open to influence and telling them how much Jesus loves them is Lauren’s goal in ministry.  She also hopes to one day work with the kids going through the foster care system or the adoption process.

Lauren believes that God led her back to Faithful because she has grown so much in the past year as a part of the group.  She loves to meet and get to know people and this group provides her with the opportunity to do just that.

Ice cream is Lauren’s favorite food, Breyers Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, to be exact.  Barlow Girl tops off Lauren’s favorite musical artist with their song “Mirror” serving as her favorite song that Faithful sings.  She likes this song because of the awesome message it sends to girls.  “It doesn’t matter what the world says, we are beautiful in God’s eyes and that is all that matters,” she explains.

Aaron HolmanName: Kelsey Kocher
Hometown: Farmington, MO
Church: FBC of Farmington
Major: Worship Arts
Year in School: Sophomore

Kelsey is attending her sophomore year at Missouri Baptist.  In addition to singing in Faithful, she earned a spot on the Dean’s List last year, is a member of both Chorale and Chamber Singers, works in the Office of Alumni and Church Relations as the student assistant, and leads a high school girls’ Bible study once a week.

As Kelsey’s second year in Faithful she has new goals set and is looking forward to new experiences.  Personally, Kelsey would like to seek out specific peoples needs and learn how to meet them in a way that will minister specifically to them.  She sees Faithful reaching a variety of people this year because of the different personalities and backgrounds in the group.
Some of Kelsey’s favorites include music by Bebo Norman and Shawn McDonald.  She also loves to chow down at Cracker Barrel, and enjoys pasta and dairy products the most.  A scripture verse that gives her encouragement comes from Ephesians 3:20 reminding her that God can do immeasurably more than she could ever dream.

Jordan CoxName: Erica DeVilbiss
Hometown: Kansas City, MO
Church: Kansas City Baptist Temple
Major: Elementary Education
Year in School: Sophomore

Although Erica is a sophomore at Missouri Baptist this is her first year as a member of Faithful.  She is also a part of MoBap’s women’s volleyball team.  “I think God led me to this group to bridge the gap between the athletes and ministry groups on campus,” Erica explains.  In addition, she brings an extroverted personality and comic relief to the group.

Music, people, and sports are what Erica describes as her passions and she hopes to one day use them on the mission field in some way.  Through Faithful she would like to make an impact on the younger female generation.  Another goal of hers is to learn more about basic ministry and how to work better with people in a ministerial setting.

Among her list of favorite things Erica lists Mexican food, cookie dough ice cream, the book “The Hobbit”, and the color green.  She also lists Proverbs 3:5-6 as her favorite Bible verse, a verse that reminds her that trusting in the Lord will lead her on the straight path, not relying on her own understanding.

Adam WilsonName: Chelsea Stockton
Hometown: High Ridge, MO
Church: FBC Fenton, MO
Major: Music Education
Year in School: Freshman

Coming in as a freshman majoring in Music Education, Chelsea Stockton brings much energy and enthusiasm to the group.  She notes that her activities include choir, piano playing/accompanying, dancing, and simply being crazy.  However, among these activities, Chelsea has made it a goal to live her life as a reflection of Christ to the best of her ability as God continues to mold and work in her.

Chelsea credits her mother with being the most influential in her life because she has always been a Godly example, encourager, and helped Chelsea stay on the path of righteousness even when she did not want to.  Chelsea also hopes to be a mother, and sees herself married with kids within the next ten years.  The idea of marrying a pastor excites her because she would love to serve God in a different way than she is now.

Chelsea explains that her favorite song that Faithful sings is “Never Alone” because it is so sweet to trust in Jesus and know that even if our feelings tell us He is not there to help us, His promises tell us He is, and that He is all we need.
