Name: Justin Falloon

Year in School: Senior (5th Year)
Justin joins Closer after an already distinguished college career including stops in Spirit Wing, the Chorale, Chamber Singers, and the MBU Chapel Praise Band. Justin also serves as Worship Leader at Heartland Baptist Church in south St. Louis County.
Justin met his wife, Erin (Gruen) at MBU and they were married on June 30, 2007. Justin hopes to land a job after he graduates on April 29, 2008 as a high school music teacher and plans to continue working as a worship leader at a church. His wife also graduates this spring with a degree in Music Education.
Justin is glad to have the opportunity to be a part of Closer his last year at Missouri Baptist because of his love for Southern Gospel music. He also will serve as one of the group’s two worship leaders playing both guitar and piano. His goal for the year is to see God “use four ordinary guys to do extraordinary things.”

Name: Aaron Holman

Year in School: Junior
Aaron is entering his third year with Closer. He brings an easygoing personality and ability to connect with all different types of people within the ministry. Aaron says his passion is people, whether it’s singing or talking in front of a crowd, just hanging out with a small group, or trying to lead by example. His goal is to show Christ in everyday life. He views Acts 2:21 as his life verse, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” He calls it a simple verse with deep meaning and impact.
Aaron is very active at MBU playing on the Men’s Soccer Team, serving as Vice-President of the award winning MBU Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Team, and actively working as Chair of Recruitment in the College Conservatives organization. Aaron lists his girlfriend of almost three years, Jessica, as someone who has had a major impact on his life. “She has helped me grow into a better person,” Aaron states. “You can see the difference in who I was from high school until now.”

Name: Jordan Cox
Hometown: Jackson, MO
Church: Rockwood Baptist Church, Wildwood, MO
Major: Music Education
Year in School: Junior
Jordan returns to Closer after taking a year to focus on other activities. Jordan has become very capable at juggling, trying to balance all of his various school, church, and ministry activities. Jordan is also a member of the Chorale, Chamber Singers, MBU Ringers hand bell choir, and has taken part in several musical productions. He also serves as Worship Leader at Rockwood Baptist Church and as a private piano teacher.
Jordan loves Southern Gospel music and would like to see Closer serve to bridge the gap between generations. He wants people of all ages to see how much fun we can have in Christ as we enjoy music from all genres. Jordan definitely likes to “cut-loose” on stage where his passion for music and ministry come together in a very visible way. He also serves as one of two worship leaders in the group as is the primary pianist.

Name: Adam Wilson
Hometown: Cuba, MO
Church: St. James 1st Assembly of God
Major: Music Theater
Year in School: Freshman
Adam comes to Missouri Baptist from Cuba, MO planning to major in Musical Theater. In addition to Closer, Adam participates as a member of In Charactre, MBU’s traveling drama troupe, and as a cast member of “Oklahoma!” Adam says that his prayer for the group is that they can help build the kingdom of God by ministering and entertaining. God led Adam to Closer because of his ability to sing and the friends that he has been blessed with in the group. His older sister, Heather (Wilson) Dietiker , graduated from MBU and was a member of the girl’s quartet, Faithful.
The Christmas story is one of Adam’s favorites due to its message of hope for humanity. His favorite Bible verse is Revelation 21:4 where God speaks of the beauty of fellowship we’ll share with Him someday in heaven. Adam dreams of one day traveling to the Holy Land where he could actually walk where the stories of the Bible took place.
