Athletics, fitness, wellness, and the sports industries represent billions of dollars annually and competent and effective leadership and administration are essential to realizing organizational goals in the growing marketplace. Athletics and sport-related businesses and programs will flourish only if staffed by competent professionals, and led by well-trained administrators. The Master of Science in Sport Management degree at Missouri Baptist University provides graduates with skills that will allow them to effectively manage in a wide range of sport-related experiences including interscholastic sport, intercollegiate athletics, youth sports, amateur and professional sports, sport marketing firms, special event management and facility management. ATTEND FULL OR PART-TIME
The Master of Science in Sport Management can be completed entirely online! The MS-SMGT degree program has been designed with the busy schedules of coaches, sport directors, and athletic administrators in mind. The modified cohort system in this accelerated program provides students with flexible course sequencing. Students are able to take courses whenever their busy schedule allows or to complete all of the course requirements within one year - whichever alternative suits them best.

Missouri Baptist University's tuition is very competitive. The overall cost for online courses, including tuition and fees, is one of the lowest in the area-private or public-and financial aid is available for eligible students.
GREAT PROGRAM
Projects, internships, and/or research related work allows for students in MS-SMGT courses to think creatively, solve problems, and further develop professionally. Students are given the opportunity to explore appropriate interdisciplinary relationships within and between athletics, sports, and associated disciplines (fitness, wellness, health promotions) and thereby become agents of change in their respective athletic and sport arenas. A sport management certificate and an exercise science certificate are made available for those wishing to enroll in graduate credit but not obligate themselves to an entire program of study.
