Missouri Baptist University welcomes the Amun Woodwind Quintet on Friday, Sept. 19th. The event will be held in the Recital Hall, located inside of the Dale Williams Fine Arts Center. Music will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by a reception.

Amun is a Saint Louis based woodwind quintet specializing in programming that is entertaining, innovative, and compelling. Jose Silvia is currently part of the part time music faculty at MBU and the clarinetist of the Amund Woodwind Quintet.

“We are all music educators covering private instrument, public and private music education, primary and secondary music education, and collegiate music education. Several of us are highly involved with the MBU music department serving as adjunct faculty or cadre members of the MBU concert band,” said Silvia.

The event is free and everyone in attendance is invited to join the performers for a post concert meet and greet.
