Women's Basketball

The Lady Spartans have inked Brittany Hedgcorth from Desloge, MO. The 5’11 senior guard is averaging 20 points per game in her final campaign at North County High School (MO). Hedgcorth is North County High School's second all time leading scorer in Girls basketball. Brittany plans on majoring in Pre-Med at MBU. “We are excited to have Brittany” says Coach Wingate. She is a great scorer and she understands what it takes to continually make us a successful program. She will make an immediate impact."

Women's Soccer

Brianne Henrichs comes to MBU from Mater Dei High ASchool in Breese, Illinois. Brianne is also a member of Metro F.C., one of the best soccer clubs in the Saint Louis Area. Coach Dutchik says “Brianne brings a lot to the table. Not only does she have a great soccer background coming from Metro F.C., but she is a great person to be around. She will fit in well with the team. We don’t know were we will play her because she can play a couple different spots. This is a good problem that she creates for us."

Another local player has signed to play at MBU. Ashley Rays is transferring in from Meramec Community College. Ashley played her high school soccer at Parkway South under Saint Louis Soccer great Al Trost. Coach Dutchik Says "Ashley is a great addition to the program and we are excited to get a player like her. She is hard working and willing to do what it takes to make the team better. Ashley is a good fit for the team.”

Women's Soccer

MBU Women's Soccer program just added its newest member to the team. Maggie Tierney comes to MBU from Saint Dominic High School. One of the top soccer schools in the state. Maggie also plays for one of the best Clubs, Wolfpack. Coach Dutchik says "Maggie is a very hard worker that leaves it all on the field. Maggie is a winner. She has proven that at every level. We know that Maggie has been well coached both in club and high school, so we look for her to step up right away."
