Soccer Teams Pick up First Wins of the Season

The Missouri Baptist University men’s & women’s soccer teams both picked up their first wins of the season over Bethel College (North Newton, Kans.) Thursday evening.

The Lady Spartans (1-1) earned the 2-0 victory with goals scored by junior Taylor Hay and sophomore Amy Kelly. In the nightcap, junior Saul Bush scored the lone goal of the night, with the assist from freshman Karl Russell, to give the Spartans (1-1) the win.

Both teams will return to action in Kansas, as they take on Kansas Wesleyan University on Saturday.
