Cross Country Opens 2008 Season With Strong Individual Performances
The Missouri Baptist University men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2008 season with a couple strong individual performances on Saturday at the Big River Running Early Bird Meet in Forest Park. 2007 NAIA All-American Meagan Hudson finished 4th overall in a field of 143 runners in the women's 4K race with a personal best of 14:34. Hudson was the first NAIA competitor to cross the finish line.
In the men's 6K race, Kenny Kibii finished 8th in the field of 185 runners with a personal best time of 19:23. Steve Bender finished 40th with a time of (20:23).
Both teams will travel to Warrensburg, Missouri on Friday, September 5th to compete in the Central Missouri State Mule Run.
