Brock Chatman Leads Spartan Soccer to Victory

Missouri Baptist University senior Brock Chatman (CBC High School) led the Spartans to victory over Kansas Wesleyan Saturday night. He did so by scoring all three of the team's goals in the 3-2 win. Junior Saul Bush and freshman Nasar Mustafic (Mehlville High School) were each awarded an assist. With the win, the Spartans improve to 2-1. They will return to play on Tuesday, as they take on Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Kentucky.

The Lady Spartans' perfect defense was balanced by a scoreless offense, resulting in a 0-0 tie with KWU on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Spartans are now 1-1-1 and will open American Midwest Conference play next Saturday at William Woods University (Fulton, Mo.)
