Spartans Win AMC Baseball Tournament

The Missouri Baptist University baseball team swept through the American Midwest Conference Tournament to claim the 2008 AMC Tournament Championship. The Spartans defeated McKendree University 10-7 on Friday afternoon to claim the title. MBU's Blake Kearney pitched for the win, with Clayton Dill picking up the save.

The Spartans, now 37-14, qualify for the NAIA Region V Tournament hosted by Lindenwood University May 7th through 10th.
