Softball Season Concludes in Region V Play

The Missouri Baptist University softball team went 0-for-2 in their appearance at the NAIA Region V Tournament in Springfield, Missouri on Tuesday, bringing their season to a close. The seventh seeded Lady Spartans were shut out 8-0 by number two seed Central Methodist University in the first game. The Lady Spartans managed to get on the scoreboard in the second game, but were defeated 7-3 by the number three seed Evangel University.

The Lady Spartans finish their turnaround season with a 28-17 record and a third place American Midwest Conference Regular Season finish.
