MBU Baseball Defeats McKendree

The Missouri Baptist University Spartans are now one win away from the NAIA Region V Championship game, after defeating McKendree University 19-5 on Friday afternoon. Aaron Byington pitched for the win, and Josiah Peacock got the save. Scott Schneider (3 RBI) and Joel Johnson (4-for-5, 4 RBI) each hit two-run homeruns for MBU, and Brandon Patek hit a solo homerun. Price Kendall also went 4-for-5, with 4 RBI.

MBU is now playing Lindenwood University late Friday night to advance to Saturday's Championship game at 3:00 p.m.
