MBU Baseball and Softball Players Earn All-Region Honors

The Missouri Baptist University baseball team and softball team earned individual honors at their respective NAIA Region V Post-Season Tournaments. The Lady Spartans' Lindsay Parker, a junior pitcher from Timberland High School in Wentzville, Mo. was named to the All-Region Softball Team. The Spartan baseball team had three players named to the All-Region Baseball Team; Brandon Patek, a senior outfielder from Festus High School, Joel Johnson, a senior outfielder from Camas, Wash., and Scott Talbert, a senior first baseman from Marquette High School in Chesterfield. Dayne Dyer was also named to the Academic All-Region Baseball Team.
