Softball Splits AMC Double Header

The Missouri Baptist University softball team picked up a win over NAIA 15th ranked Columbia College in an American Midwest Conference double header split at MBU on Wednesday. The Lady Spartans lost the first game 13-4, but came on strong in the second game behind Jessica Robinson's pitching. MBU edged the Lady Cougars 6-5 for the win.

Then win improves the Lady Spartans to 23-11 overall, 7-3 in the AMC. MBU is in second place in the AMC, sitting two games back of Columbia (26-8 overall, 10-2 AMC).
