Softball Splits AMC Double Header with McKendree

The Missouri Baptist University softball team split its American Midwest Conference double header with McKendree University on Satruday. The Lady Spartans won the first game 4-0. Lindsay Parker pitched the shutout for MBU, while Lauren Scovill drove in a homerun. The Lady Spartans dropped the second game 1-13, with Jessica Robinson picking up the loss.

The Lady Spartans currently hold third place in the AMC, with a conference record of 3-1. They are 16-8 overall. They will be back in AMC action today as they face Harris-Stowe State University in a double header at Saint Louis University.
