Softball Shuts Out Harris-Stowe

The Missouri Baptist University softball team shut out Harris-Stowe State University in an American Midwest Conference double header on Monday. The wins improve the Lady Spartans to 18-8 overall, 5-1 in the AMC.

The Lady Spartans won the first game 5-0, behind Lindsay Parker's pitching. Parker did not allow a hit the entire game. The no-hitter is her first of the season. The Lady Spartans increased the spread in the second game, winning 12-0 behind Jessica Robinson's pitching.

The Lady Spartans will return to action at home on Friday, when they face Westminster University at 2:00 p.m.
