Men's Golf Takes Third at WWU Invitational
The Missouri Baptist University men's golf team finished third of 14 teams at the William Woods Invitational in Fulton, Missouri on Tuesday. The Spartans finished just seven shots behind the winner. The18-Hole team total was 305. Tyler Peasel shot an impressive 3-under par 69 to pick up the individual champion's trophy in windy and very cold conditions.
"This is one of the best rounds of golf I've ever seen played under such weather conditions, as a player or coach, and perhaps even in Missouri Baptist golf history," said MBU Head Coach Justin Hoagland.
The men's golf team will next travel to Indianapolis for the Brickyard Invitational April 13th-15th.
