Men's Golf Finishes 7th in Region V Championship
The Missouri Baptist University men's golf team concluded its season at the NAIA Region V Championship at Paradise Point Golf Complex (Smithville, Mo.) on Thursday and Friday April 24-25. The Spartans finished in 7th place in a field of 12 teams. The team faired very well considering the blustery conditions endured once again this season.
Kyle Jasper and Zack Daugherty were MBU's top finishers with three round total scores of 232 and 235 respectively. Their performances earned them AMC All-Conference honors.
"I was proud of the guys," said MBU Head Coach Justin Hoagland. "The Spring season was finished off consistenty and they played their hearts out for us! That's all I could ask for."
