MBU Softball Players Earn All-Conference Honors

The Missouri Baptist University softball team's American Midwest Conference Tournament run came to a close in a 0-1 loss to Williams Baptist College on Friday. At the conclusion of the tournament on Saturday, several Lady Spartans earned All-Conference Honors.

Highlighting the list of honors was MBU pitcher Lindsay Parker, who was named the AMC Newcomer of the Year. Parker also earned First Team All-Conference honors, along with teammate Lauren Scovill. Earning Honorable Mention for MBU were Jessica Robinson, Brittany Job and Dana Schlemmer.

The Lady Spartans also boasted ten Academic All-Conference players. Cassandra Bailey, Danielle Hayden, Brittany Job, Stacey Launius, Jessica Robinson, Meaghan Rocco, Lauren Scovill, Amy Simon, Katrina Kuehn, and Torrie Yeast all earned the honor by having a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
