Lady Spartans Sneak by Greenville

The Missouri Baptist University softball team earned to hard fought victories over Greenville College on Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Spartans went eight innings with the Panthers in game one. Lindsay Parker started the game for MBU, pitching four innings. Jessica Robinson came in relief, closing out the final four innings. Robinson also pitched the second game, leading MBU to a 2-1 victory.

The Lady Spartans improve to 20-8 overall. They are currently ranked second in the American Midwest Conference, with a 5-1 record. Friday's home games versus Westminster will not be played at MBU, due to soggy field conditions. Arrangements are currently trying to be made to play the games at a different site.
