AMC Baseball Tournament Opens at MBU Today

The 2008 American Midwest Conference Baseball Tournament opens today, Wednesday, April 30th on the campus of Missouri Baptist University. The MBU Spartans, who finished as the AMC Regular Season Champions, will enter the four team tournament as the number one seed.

Play opens up at 11:00 a.m., when MBU faces the number four seed Harris-Stowe State University. The presentation of the Academic All-Conference awards will follow the conclusion of game one. The second game of the day features the number two seed McKendree University versus the number three seed William Woods University.
