MBU Softball Opens Season at .500 in Florida

The Missouri Baptist University softball team spent its Spring Break on the road in sunny Ft. Myer, Florida, finally able to take the field this season. The Lady Spartans' first five games of the season were cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather.

The Lady Spartans picked up victories over Edinboro University (two wins), Skidmore College, Salem State College, the University of Bridgeport, and Alfred University. The Lady Spartans went 6-6 on the trip, and will take a .500 record into their first home game of the season on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. versus Culver-Stockton College.
