Men's Basketball Loses to UIS
The Missouri Baptist University men's basketball team dropped to 4-8 in the American Midwest Conference, (6-22 overall), in a 103-87 loss to the University of Illinois at Springfield in a make-up contest Monday night. The game had been re-scheduled in January due to inclement weather.
The Spartans were led by Brandon Bishop's 36 points. Bret Wilson added 23 points and 8 rebounds for MBU. The Spartans will travel to Harris-Stowe State University on Thursday, then will face UIS once again at home on Saturday to conclude AMC regular season play.
