Spartans Get Second AMC Win

The Missouri Baptist University men’s basketball team picked up its second American Midwest Conference win Thursday night, defeating host Williams Baptist College 94-78. The Spartans shot 36 for 55 from the field and 11 for 24 from behind the arc. Five Spartans were in double figures. Bret Wilson led MBU with 25 points, Brandon Bishop added 23, Deon White 14, Dane Rawlins 13, and Geoffrey Grant 10. The win takes the Spartans to 2-3 in the AMC, 4-17 overall.

The Spartans will return home Saturday, hosting Harris-Stowe State University in AMC action. Play starts at 2:00 p.m., when the Lady Spartans host HSSU.
