Spartan Wrestling Falls to Central Missouri

The Missouri Baptist University wrestling team was defeated by the University of Central Missouri (NCAA D-II) 35-12 in a dual meet at MBU Thursday night.

At 157 lbs., Matt Collum picked up a win by fall (4:30) for the Spartans. Also winning for the Spartans were Nigel Kinworthy (184) winning 2-1, and Nick Lobosco (149) with a 4-2 decision.

Earlier this week, the Spartans dropped in the NAIA National Rankings from 14th place to 20th place. They will return to the mats on Saturday at the Missouri Valley College Open.
