Men's Volleyball Starts Season 4-0

The Spartans opened up their season with four wins at the Lindenwood Tournament this weekend. On Friday, the Spartans defeated Moody Bible Institute 30-13, 30-14, 30-25. They also handled Johnson and Wales College (Colo.) 32-30, 30-25, 30-25.

The Spartans had to battle harder to pick up Saturday’s wins. They defeated Cardinal-Stritch University 30-25, 30-32, 30-24, 25-30, 15-10 and Graceland College 31-33, 30-25, 30-24, 30-28.

MBU’s Matt Mahoney was named to the all-tournament team.
