MBU's Lukasek Earns NAIA Volleyball All-American Honors

Missouri Baptist University junior, Brittany Lukasek, was recently named to the NAIA All American third team in women’s volleyball. Brittany is a 6’ middle blocker from St. Louis, MO. She graduated high school from Bishop DuBourg and is studying Sports Medicine at MBU.

Lukasek led the American Midwest Conference in hitting with 3.7 attack kills per game for a .437 attack kill percentage (4th in the NAIA for kill percentage). She also led the AMC in blocks, averaging 1.3 blocks per game. She led the Spartans to a 25-13 record, including a second place finish in the American Midwest Conference.

MBU Head Coach John Yehling said of Lukasek, “from when she got here as a freshman until now, she has worked so hard in the off-season to make herself a better player.”
