Women's Volleyball Set to Play in AMC Title Match

The Lady spartans swept McKendree University Thursday night 30-18, 30-25, 30-24 to advance to the championship match of the American Midwest Conference Tournament. The Lady Spartans (25-11) will face the top-seeded Cougars of Columbia College. The Cougars defeated the University of Illinois at Springfield in their semi-final match Thursday night to advance.

This will mark the third consecutive year that Columbia and Missouri Baptist will meet for the AMC Volleyball Tournament title. The teams have split the previous two championship contests. They have faced each other three times already this season, with Columbia sweeping all three matches.

Game time is set for noon at Columbia College this Saturday.
