Women's Volleyball Advances to Semi-Final of AMC Tournament

The MBU women's volleyball team ended Hannibal-LaGrange College's post-season hopes Tuesday night, defeating the Trojans 30-22, 30-21, 30-21. The Lady Spartans advance to semi-final play in the American Midwest Conference Tournament.

They will host McKendree University in Thursday night at 7:00 PM in Muncy Gymnasium. MBU beat McKendree in both regular season matches, the first in four games and the second in three. A victory on Thursday will most likely send the Lady Spartans to top seeded Columbia College on Saturday for the championship match. Both teams would then receive an automatic berth to the NAIA Region V Tournament.
