The Missouri Baptist University men's and women's soccer teams faced Hannibal-LaGrange College Wednesday night, their second conference opponent of the season. The Lady Spartans won their second in three games, defeating the Lady Trojans 2-0. Sophomore Taylor Hay scored both MBU goals. Meagan Roberts and Stefanie Ryan were each awarded an assist. The Lady Spartans are now 5-7 overall and 1-1 in the AMC.
The men's soccer team's offense failed to connect for a goal for the third straight match, as the Trojans beat the Spartans 3-0. The loss drops the Spartans to 6-5 on the season, 1-1 in the AMC. Both teams will be on the road again this Saturday, as they face Graceland University (Lamoni, Iowa). They will return to AMC action October 3rd at McKendree University.
