MBU Volleyball's Abell Named Libero of the Week
For the second time already this season, MBU junior Tracey Abell has been named the American Midwest Conference Libero of the Week. In addition, Abell has been named the NAIA Region V Libero of the Week.
The honor comes after a week in which the Lady Spartans went 5-0, improving their record to 8-7 (2-1 in the AMC). Abell's play helped lead the Spartans to those victories. She recorded 127 digs and 11 service aces. She received 130 serves with only six errors, passing a percentage of .954. She also had an impressive serve percentage of .943.
Congratulations Tracey!
The Lady Spartans will return to AMC action Thursday at Hannibal-LaGrange College at 7:00 p.m.
