Amanda Schick Named MBU Women's Cross Country and Track & Field Coach (July 25, 2007)
Missouri Baptist University has named Amanda Schick the new Head Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Coach, in an announcement made by Director of Athletics Thomas Smith. “I’m really excited to be a part of Missouri Baptist University and the Athletic Department because of the strong vision it possesses,” Coach Schick said. Coach Schick comes to MBU with four years of collegiate coaching under her belt. She spent the past three years as an Assistant Coach at NCAA Division I Northwestern State University (Natchitoches, Louisiana). Deno Merrick Named New Men's & Women's Soccer Coach (July 20, 2007)
Missouri Baptist University has named Deno Merrick the new Head Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coach, in an announcement made by Director of Athletics Thomas Smith. Previous Coach Jared Embick resigned from his position at MBU to accept a position as an Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach for the University of Akron (NCAA Division I). Deno has served as the MBU Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach for the past two years. Prior to that, he served as the program’s Graduate Assistant Coach for one year. Missouri Baptist University Names Ray Farrell as New Head Men’s Basketball Coach (July 16, 2007)
Missouri Baptist University has named Ray Farrell the Head Men’s Basketball Coach, effective immediately, in an announcement made by Director of Athletics Thomas Smith. Farrell replaces former coach Tony Tompkins, who has accepted the position of Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Judson College (Elgin, Il.). Coach Farrell considers it "a blessing to be a part of an athletic department that has a family atmosphere and is unified in its pursuit to glorify God through athletics and to accomplish the mission of the university." Gordon Reiter Named Head Men's Track and Field Coach (July 9, 2007)
Missouri Baptist University Director of Athletics, Thomas Smith, has announced the appointment of Gordon Reiter as the new Head Men's Track and Field Coach. Coach Reiter makes the transition to Head Coach after serving as an Assistant for the Track and Field program this past year. Coach Reiter is already the Head Men's Cross Country Coach.
