More Than the Usual Makeover (June 26, 2007)
Muncy Gymnasium isn't getting an ordinary face lift this summer. Work begins today on the annual resurfacing of the gymnasium floor on the Missouri Baptist University campus. However, when the maintenance project is completed this summer, you might think you're seeing double. That's because MBU is getting ahead of the game and adding an additional three-point line at each basket. MBU, a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, is having the new three-point line put on the gym floor in preparation for the rule change to take effect in the game of Men's Basketball in the 2008-2009 season.…

MBU Softball Hosts Camp (June 21, 2007)
The Misouri Baptist University Softball Team hosted a summer camp June 11-13, under the direction of MBU Head Coach Craig Walston. Twenty campers, (and possible future Lady Spartans), between the ages of 10 and 16 received instruction in hitting, throwing, running and fielding from Coach Walston and members of the MBU Softball Team. The Lady Spartan Softball Team had a record of 13-28 (3-10 in the American Midwest Conference) this spring, in its first year under Coach Walston's leadership. Coach Walston spent the previous nine years as the Head Softball Coach at NCAA Division III Webster University in St. Louis(263-90).…

MBU Athletics Will Sell St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball Tickets (June 11, 2007)
Missouri Baptist University Department of Athletics is pleased to partner annually with the defending World Champion St. Louis Cardinals in selling tickets for one game at beautiful Busch Stadium in downtown St. Louis. Tickets will go on sale immediately through the MBU Athletics Office. The game is set for Sunday September 23rd, 2007 verse National League opponent, Houston Astros. Game time is scheduled for 1:15 PM Central Standard Time. Seat locations are in the Infield Terrace Reserve and are $29.00 each. The St. Louis Cardinals organization is expecting every game for the World Champs to be sold out this year,…
