Women's Golf, Dejsubha, Wins Region V Tournament; Qualifies for NAIA National Tourney

The MBU Women’s Golf team took seventh place at the 2007 Region V Tournament hosted by McKendree College. MBU’s Prank Dejsubha won the Regional Tournament with scores of 73 and 85 for a total of 158. With her victory, Dejsubha, receives a berth to the NAIA National Championship in San Diego, California. Dejsubha was also named to the 2007 AMC All-Conference Team. Last year’s Regional winner, MBU’s Jennifer Lotz, shot 90 and 80 for a 170 total to finish third at this year’s Region Tournament. Lotz was named to the both the 2007 All-Region V Team and 2007 AMC All-Conference Team.
