Men's Volleyball Finishes Third at NAIA National Invitational Tournament

The Missouri Baptist University Men’s Volleyball team completed their season on April 13th at the NAIA National Invitational Tournament in Riverside, CA with a 20-30, 19-30, 23-30 loss at the hands of eventual national champions, California Baptist University. The Spartans lost a three game match to Park University (MO) in pool play before knocking off Missouri Valley College in four games to advance into the semi-final against CBU.

Ivan Lugonja was named to the All-Tournament team and the team finished 18-9 on the season. The team will return each player from this year’s squad for next season.
