Women's Volleyball Defeats NCAA D-II, UMSL

The Missouri Baptist University Women’s Volleyball team defeated the University Of Missouri St. Louis (NCAA Division II) Wednesday by scores of 30-25, 30-19, 28-30, 28-30, 15-12. The team was led by Senior outside hitter, Ana Mercado, with 30 kills and senior setter, Shannan Swiney, with 56 assists. The team battled back from an 8-2 deficit to outscore UMSL 13-4 to finish off game five. The Lady Spartans are currently ranked 6th in the NAIA.
