Men's Basketball, Edwards, Signs in the Dominican Republic

Missouri Baptist University 2005 Alumnus, Ryan Edwards, has signed with Marineros de Puerto Plata de Puerta Plata in the Dominican Republic. Edwards was a Kentucky Pro-Am All Tournament team member and a standout at the KPA in 2006, as well as the IBL. KPA director Michael Stinnett was contacted by Edwards agent Jose Camacho in regards to finding a 6'5" scorer, and Edwards was the man suggested. Edwards help lead the MBU Spartans to an AMC title in 2005 and a National Tournament bid, while averaging 17 points per game and was an All-Conference selection. Edwards, only 23 years old as a bright pro future in front of him.
