MBU is Honored to Support Noah, a ten Year Old Cancer Patient

Missouri Baptist University Athletics is proud to support Noah Donohoo, who has undergone three brain surgeries and radiation treatment for cancer in the last nine months. Noah is the son of MBU graduate, David Donohoo.

Noah was honored in February of 2006 at an MBU men’s varsity basketball game when MBU Athletic Director, Thomas Smith, designated the game as “Noah’s Night”. Noah was an honorary coach for the night and sat right beside MBU head coach, Tony Tompkins.

Noah’s third and most recent operation was deeper than the previous two; however, doctors feel they were able to extract the entire tumor. The Donohoo family will not receive any results from the labs for several days. At this point, Noah is experiencing some memory loss, and it is not clear as to how permanent this condition may be. Obviously, Noah has a tremendous battle in front of him, coveting your prayers and support. The MBU Men’s Basketball team is asking for a minimum donation of ten dollars to purchase a t-shirt that says,

PRAY – GIVE
4 NOAH
BELIEVE

Checks can be made out to MBU Men’s Basketball, with “Noah” in the memo. ALL of the proceeds will go to benefit the Donohoo family and the enormous costs associated with his healthcare. You may visit www.caringbridge.org to visit Noah’s site. Select “Visit”, and at the prompt, type “noahdonohoo”. The family would welcome your prayers and postings in order to encourage Noah.
