MBU Athletic Director, Tom Smith, Speaks to North County Christian High School

On Thursday, September 14th, MBU Director of Athletics, Thomas Smith, presented a message, “Finishing the Race” to students in their chapel service at North County Christian High School in Florissant, Missouri. Accompanying Tom was MBU Cross Country and Track & Field All-American, Dennis-Bull Olinga. Dennis shared his tremendous accomplishments to the young audience which included representing his home country of Uganda, Africa in the 2002 Olympic Games.

Coach Smith has been the Director of Athletics at MBU since 2003. In 2005, he was honored as the AMC Athletic Director of the Year and the Region V Athletic Director of the Year. Smith also teaches in MBU’s Division of Health and Sports Science.
